Engineering cloud infrastructure that never sleeps.

I design, automate, and operate production-grade cloud platforms — Kubernetes clusters that heal themselves, pipelines that ship with confidence, and AWS environments built to hold up under real traffic.

About

Two years in, still fixing things
before they break.

I'm Diwakar — a DevOps Engineer based in New Delhi, currently building and operating the cloud backbone at Sharajman Technologies. My job starts where "it works on my machine" ends: turning applications into systems that scale, recover, and stay observable under pressure.

Day to day that means Jenkins pipelines wired to SonarQube and OWASP checks, Kubernetes clusters running on Terraform-provisioned AWS infrastructure, and dashboards in Grafana that tell me about a problem before a user does. I care less about using every tool in the ecosystem and more about which three tools, wired together correctly, make an incident impossible.

Alongside the day job, I'm completing an M.Tech in Cloud Computing at BITS Pilani, working toward the CKA and AWS DevOps Engineer – Professional certifications, and learning German (A1 → B1) as I prepare for the next step of my career in Germany.

Experience

Where the work actually happens.

DevOps Engineer, Sharajman Technologies
03/2024 — PresentNew Delhi, India
  • Engineered a Jenkins CI/CD pipeline integrating Docker, SonarQube, and OWASP security testing for Angular and FastAPI applications — cutting deployment time by 30%, improving code stability by 20%, and lifting security compliance by 25%.
  • Own monitoring and observability for 500+ containers via Prometheus, Grafana, cAdvisor, and Portainer, improving system performance by 40% and cutting unplanned downtime by 15%.
  • Provisioned production AWS infrastructure with Terraform — 10 web servers and 5 database servers — delivering 99.9% SLA uptime and a 35% gain in deployment efficiency.
  • Deployed a Kubernetes cluster (1 control-plane, 2 worker nodes), cutting environment provisioning time by 50%.
  • Analysed 35+ government tender requirements and designed server architectures spanning CDN, S3, ALB, auto-scaling Kubernetes, and primary/secondary DR — built for 1,000+ concurrent users at 35% lower infrastructure cost.

EKS · 3 AZ · GitOps

Production-grade highly available EKS cluster

A Kubernetes 1.30 cluster architected for real failure modes — spread across three availability zones with private-only networking, self-healing delivery, and full disaster recovery, not a demo cluster dressed up for a portfolio.

Kubernetes 1.30TerraformArgoCDVeleroCloudWatch
  • 3 AZs, 3 public + 3 private subnets, managed node groups auto-scaling 2 → 5 nodes on demand.
  • Hardened via private-only API endpoint, /32 IP whitelisting, and IMDSv1 disabled cluster-wide.
  • AWS Load Balancer Controller + Cluster Autoscaler deployed via Helm for zero-touch scaling.
  • GitOps delivery through ArgoCD over SSH — automated sync, self-healing, and pruning for a live FastAPI service.
  • Velero-based disaster recovery with least-privilege IAM covering EBS snapshots and S3-scoped restores.
AWS · CI/CD · Terraform

Scalable AWS web application deployment

An end-to-end delivery pipeline that took a web application from manual deploys to fully automated, repeatable releases — infrastructure and pipeline defined as code from the first commit.

TerraformGitHub ActionsCloudFrontMonitoring
  • Infrastructure as code with Terraform paired with a GitHub Actions CI/CD pipeline end to end.
  • 50% fewer deployment errors and 30% higher team throughput after automating the release path.
